Account Executive – Life Insurance Industry

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to drive growth within the life insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for selling AI-driven solutions to life insurance companies, developing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and leveraging your industry expertise to expand our client base. Your ability to connect with C-level executives and effectively communicate the value of AI technology will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Relationships with Life and annuity insurers, brokers, BGAs and distributors

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at life insurance companies.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships to drive adoption of our AI solutions.

Expand Presence in Small/Medium-Sized Insurance Companies

  • Adapt your sales approach to meet the unique needs of mid-sized life insurance providers.
  • Establish credibility and trust in organizations with varying levels of AI adoption.

Drive Sales Growth 

  • Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies using LinkedIn, conferences, cold calls, and email campaigns.

Leverage Data & Analytics in Sales Strategy

  • Utilize analytical insights to identify market trends and tailor sales pitches.
  • Work with internal teams to optimize messaging and positioning based on industry needs.

Engage with C-Level Executives

  • Present and demonstrate the strategic value of our AI technology to C level managers.
  • Understand their challenges and position our solutions as a competitive advantage.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably selling AI, SaaS, or analytics-driven solutions to life insurance companies
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics in sales strategies.
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized insurance companies is a plus.
