Account Executive – Life Insurance Industry
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to drive growth within the life insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for selling AI-driven solutions to life insurance companies, developing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and leveraging your industry expertise to expand our client base. Your ability to connect with C-level executives and effectively communicate the value of AI technology will be crucial to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Relationships with Life and annuity insurers, brokers, BGAs and distributors
- Identify and engage key decision-makers at life insurance companies.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships to drive adoption of our AI solutions.
Expand Presence in Small/Medium-Sized Insurance Companies
- Adapt your sales approach to meet the unique needs of mid-sized life insurance providers.
- Establish credibility and trust in organizations with varying levels of AI adoption.
Drive Sales Growth
- Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies using LinkedIn, conferences, cold calls, and email campaigns.
Leverage Data & Analytics in Sales Strategy
- Utilize analytical insights to identify market trends and tailor sales pitches.
- Work with internal teams to optimize messaging and positioning based on industry needs.
Engage with C-Level Executives
- Present and demonstrate the strategic value of our AI technology to C level managers.
- Understand their challenges and position our solutions as a competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably selling AI, SaaS, or analytics-driven solutions to life insurance companies
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics in sales strategies.
- Experience working with small to mid-sized insurance companies is a plus.
