We’re looking for an experienced, impact-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our R& D team. In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge
machine learning models, shape our data science strategy, and play a key role in optimizing AI-powered solutions for the life insurance market.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML models, from research and experimentation to production deployment and monitoring.
Work on complex modeling challenges, including churn prediction, forecasting, segmentation, classification, and regression.
Define and implement data science best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of models.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align AI-driven insights with business objectives.
Leverage advanced analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and predictive modeling to drive value for insurers.
Present key findings and research to executives, clients, and internal teams, making complex insights accessible and actionable.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, with a proven track record of deploying models to production.
BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and experience working with cloud-based ML pipelines.
Strong background in time series forecasting, clustering, classification, and predictive modeling.
Experience handling large-scale datasets, with a deep understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, and model optimization.
Strong analytical mindset with business acumen – ability to translate data into actionable insights for real-world impact.
Proven ability to work independently, own initiatives, and drive strategic data science projects from conception to execution.
Excellent communication skills – able to present findings to executives, clients, and technical teams in a clear and compelling manner.
Bonus Points For
Experience in Insurance, Fintech, or Risk Modeling.
Familiarity with deep learning, reinforcement learning, or generative AI.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for machine learning deployment.
