Dror Katzav
Co-Founder & CEO
Prior to co-founding Atidot, Dror Katzav completed an 11-year career as a Talpiot (an elite program for R&D officers) graduate, leading state of the art technology development for the technological unit of the Intelligence Corp in the Israel Army. In that unit, Dror led teams in AI, data solutions, cyber security and more. Dror is an experienced data scientist who has consulted for many Israeli startups. He holds an MS.c in Information Sciences from Tel Aviv University and his thesis was entitled “Neural networks and prediction of stock exchange behavior.”
Dror made the decision to take his experience and his love for data and technology to build Atidot, a company that provides the solution for data driven decision making in the life insurance industry.
Barak Bercovitz
Co-Founder & CTO
Barak Bercovitz co-founded Atidot following a 10 year career as an R&D technological leader in an elite intelligence unit of the Israeli Army. Barak was responsible for initiating and leading various projects in his unit with a focus on Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Big Data. One of these projects was the winner of the prestigious Israel Security Prize, awarded for the most exceptional technological breakthroughs. Upon completion of his Army service, Barak spent 4 years freelancing for companies including Intel and Texas Instruments where he focused on reliable software development before co-founding Atidot.
Assaf Mizan
Co-Founder & VP Product and Actuary
Prior to co-founding Atidot, Assaf spent 7 years as the Chief Actuary at the Israel Ministry of Finance where he led, promoted and implemented various reforms both in the actuarial area and in the wider insurance sector. Assaf also worked as the Senior Pricing Actuary at the Israel branch of Swiss Re and was responsible for all life and health pricing for the Israel market.
Assaf holds a BSc in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
